A rebound-focused inverted rubber that is light, so it swings easily even in thicker options

Hammond is an inverted rubber (a rubber with a flat surface that makes it easy to put spin on the ball) built on the idea of IE (Integrated Energy). Its main feature is that it passes the force you put into the shot to the ball without waste, making speed easy to produce. The rubber is light, so it stays easy to swing even if you choose a thicker one.

Features

  • Designed to reduce energy loss at the moment of impact, making it easier to pass your force on to the ball
  • Combines natural and synthetic rubber to balance softness on receiving the ball with rebound on sending it out
  • The rubber itself is lightweight, so the swing is less likely to feel heavy even if you choose a thicker one
  • On Nittaku's own ratings, speed is 12.50, spin is 10.00 and sponge hardness is 30.00
  • Category is IE (Integrated Energy). Two thicknesses are available: Thin and Thick

Recommended for

  • Players who want to attack with an emphasis on speed
  • Players who want to keep the swing from feeling heavy even with a thicker rubber
  • Players looking for a lively inverted rubber

Pros and things to consider
