Nittaku Hammond Z2 Rubber

An inverted rubber whose shots don't drop easily, aimed at counters and deep drives

Hammond Z2 is an inverted rubber (a rubber with a flat surface that makes it easy to put spin on the ball) made in Japan, combining a red Bulkhead sponge with a Natural Rich sheet that has a higher proportion of natural rubber. Shots don't drop easily even when you contact the ball thinly, which suits players who want to trade shots with counters and with drives from away from the table.

Features

• It uses a red Bulkhead sponge, which strengthens the internal dividers (bulkheads) to reduce energy loss and raise rebound.
• The Natural Rich sheet has a high proportion of natural rubber and a high density, so shots are built not to drop easily.
• It is designed to make it easy to use your opponent's spin on counters and to land deep drives even from a position away from the table.
• On Nittaku's own index, Speed is 16.00 and Spin is 13.00, with a sponge hardness of 40.0. The category is ZC (Z Charge).
• One adhesive rubber protector is included. The manufacturer advises using the included protector when you use the rubber.

Recommended for

• Players who want to use their opponent's spin on counters

• Experienced players who want both speed and shots that don't drop easily
