Nittaku Moristo LP Long Pips Rubber

A long pips rubber that adds the option of counterattacking with smashes to its variation

This is a long pips rubber (a rubber with tall pips on its surface that makes it easier to use your opponent's spin) in Nittaku's "variation type" category. It creates variation by making use of how the ball digs in on contact, and can also produce fast knuckle balls. It also suits players who want to counterattack with smashes rather than only defend.

Pros and things to consider

Pros

• A type that makes variation easy, with a high Variation value of 14.00 on Nittaku's own index.
• Easy to produce fast knuckle balls.
• Also works well for counterattacking with smashes.

Things to consider

• The Spin value is a low 5.00 (Nittaku's own index), so it is not especially suited to strokes where you put the spin on the ball yourself.
