An entry-level 5-ply racket with a compact, easy-to-handle blade

An all-round shakehand with a compact blade of 154×148 mm (manufacturer-stated). Because the face is smaller, the rubbers applied are smaller too, which helps keep the finished weight down. With a soft feel and a restrained rebound, it suits people who have just started playing table tennis.

Features

  • Compact blade of 154×148 mm (manufacturer-stated)
  • The area of rubber to be applied is smaller, which makes it easier to keep the total weight including rubbers down
  • 5 wood plies with a restrained rebound. Even shots that just meet the ball without spin tend to go onto the table
  • On Nittaku's own ratings, speed is Mid-slow and feel is Soft
  • 5.6 mm thick, about 85 g, grip 100×24 mm (manufacturer-stated)

Recommended for

  • People who have just started playing table tennis
  • Players looking for a racket that swings lightly
  • Players who value the stability of getting the ball onto the table

Pros and things to consider

Pros

  • The smaller blade makes it easier to swing
  • A restrained rebound makes it easier to keep shots on the table

Things to consider

  • Because the blade is small, the surface for hitting the ball is also smaller
  • Because it is designed with a restrained rebound, it may feel lacking for players who want powerful shots
