A Japanese-made 5-ply blade featuring the flex of stringed-instrument construction

An offensive shakehand of 5 wood plies made with the "stringed-instrument construction method." At the moment of impact the blade flexes and springs back, giving a feel as if it wraps around the ball before sending it off. We offer the ST (straight) grip.

Features

  • 5-ply wood made with the "stringed-instrument construction method." 5.3 mm thick
  • A design in which the flex of the plywood leads to rebound at the moment of impact
  • A build with a wide sweet spot (the area where it is easy to hit the ball on the center of the blade)
  • On Nittaku's own ratings, speed is Mid-slow and feel is Soft
  • We offer the ST (straight, item number NE-6756). The grip measures 100×23 mm

Recommended for

  • Players who like a flexing feel on impact
  • Players looking for a Japanese-made 5-ply racket
  • Players who want to use a straight grip

Pros and things to consider

Pros

  • A feel on impact, thanks to the flex, as if the blade wraps around the ball
  • A wide sweet spot, a design that takes ease of hitting into account

Things to consider

  • Only the ST (straight) grip is offered
  • The flexing feel is distinctive, so it may not suit players who prefer a firm feel
