XIOM Allround S Shakehand Blade

A 5-ply wood blade with good ball hold, made for building rallies.

The Allround S is a shakehand blade built from 5 wood plies. It makes it easier to feel the ball staying in contact with the rubber for longer (known as ball hold), and it is a model suited to building rallies through technique. It is a good fit for players who like to vary placement and spin.

Features

• A plywood blade of 5 wood plies only, with a blade thickness of 5.4 mm.
• The plies flex on impact, a feel designed to make the ball easier to control.
• Limba is used for the plies, a wood regarded as relatively soft and easy for catching the ball.
• The blade measures 158×151 mm, and the manufacturer states a weight of about 85 g.
• Two grip types, FL and ST, are available. The blade is JTTA-approved (Japan Table Tennis Association).

Q. What is the difference between FL and ST?

A. FL (flared) has a grip end that widens out, while ST (straight) has a straight shape. The FL grip measures 100×24 mm and the ST grip measures 100×23 mm.

Q. Does it come with rubber?

A. No. This product is the racket blade only, so please prepare rubber to attach to both sides separately.
