XIOM Jekyll & Hyde V 47.5 Rubber

An inverted rubber with a hardness of 47.5, aimed at combining strong rebound with dwell time

This is an inverted rubber (a rubber with a flat surface that makes it easy to put spin on the ball) from XIOM's Jekyll & Hyde series, the type the manufacturer calls "V." By combining strong rebound with dwell time (how long the ball stays in contact with the surface), it aims for a high arc and control.

Features

• In the design the manufacturer calls "V," the idea is to provide strong rebound while also giving the ball plenty of time in contact with the surface.
• By securing time to hold the ball, it aims to combine a high arc with control.
• It uses "TENSOR," a topsheet and sponge technology focused on ball speed, and also incorporates the friction technology Dynamic Friction.
• On XIOM's own published indices, SPEED & FORCE is 7.0, CATAPULT & CLICK is 5.6 and SPIN & ARC is 5.4.
• The published sponge hardness is 47.5, and the sponge is black. The country of origin is Germany.
