XIOM Jekyll & Hyde X 47.5 Rubber

An X-type inverted rubber that uses a catapult effect to aim for aggressive topspin

This is an inverted rubber (a rubber with a flat surface that makes it easy to put spin on the ball) from XIOM's Jekyll & Hyde series, the type the manufacturer calls "X." It incorporates a catapult effect that takes the ball deep into the surface before sending it out. It is a model suited to players who want to hit aggressive topspin.

Features

• Applying a principle called "SLING," the catapult effect is designed to catch the ball deep in the surface before sending it out.
• It is a mechanism that transmits the vertical and horizontal forces generated at impact with a time lag. The aim is to make aggressive topspin easier to hit.
• On XIOM's own published indices, SPEED is 9.2, PRECISION is 8.9 and SPIN is 8.4. The sponge hardness is 47.5.
• It uses "TENSOR," a topsheet and sponge technology focused on ball speed, and also incorporates the friction technology Dynamic Friction.
• You can choose from two colors and two thicknesses. The country of origin is Germany.
