A chopping inverted rubber designed with both ease of chopping and attacking in mind

An inverted rubber for players whose game centers on chopping (a defensive stroke that returns the ball with backspin). Its surface friction is strong, and it is designed to be usable for attacking as well while emphasizing chop control. It suits players who want to build their game on defense and mix in attacks.

Features

  • On Yasaka's ratings, Speed is 7, Spin is 10+ and Control is 12
  • Sponge hardness is 25-30° according to Yasaka's published figure
  • Strong friction, built to make chop spin easy to control
  • Though made for chopping, it is said to have attacking power as well
  • A Japanese-made rubber with a choice of thicknesses from Very thin to Thick

Recommended for

  • Players whose main game is chopping
  • Players who want to mix attacks in with their chops
  • Players who want to steady their chop spin

Pros and things to consider

Pros

  • Spin is 10+, slightly above the baseline Mark V
  • Control is 12, which makes it easier to keep chops steady
  • Usable for attacking as well as chopping

Things to consider
