A Vega inverted rubber made for fast rallies of trading drives

Vega Pro is an inverted rubber (a rubber with a flat surface that makes it easy to put spin on the ball) in XIOM's Vega series. It has a firm, stable hitting feel and emphasizes a balance with spin performance. It is made for fast rallies in which players trade drives (topspin).

Features

  • Construction is pips-in (inverted) with a black sponge, and the country of origin is Germany.
  • XIOM's published sponge hardness is 47.5. It is designed with a firm hitting feel.
  • HYPER ELASTO technology aims to widen the range within which a drive lands on the opponent's side of the table.
  • It uses CARBO SPONGE (a sponge containing carbon particles).
  • XIOM's own published ratings are SPEED & FORCE 6.0, SPIN & ARC 5.0, and CATAPULT & CLICK 4.6.

Recommended for

  • Players who want to trade shots in fast topspin rallies
  • Intermediate and advanced players who want a balance between spin and shot power

Pros and things to consider

Pros

  • The construction combines spin-generating performance with a firm hitting feel.
  • Its strengths come through easily in fast rallies that turn into drive exchanges.

Things to consider

  • Because it is designed for fast rallies, it may be difficult to handle for players who have just started.
  • We do not carry some combinations of color and thickness.
  • The racket and glue are sold separately (this is a single rubber).
